We aim to regularly feature Birmingham school websites on the home page of the BGfL.

If you would like to see your school website featured contact schoolwebsite@bgfl.org

If you have already submitted a website to be featured as 'School Website of the Week', we will be looking at the content to check that your site meets the following criteria:

1. The guidelines provided by the (now archived) Becta website. For more details have a look at the Becta Schools E-safety website for guidance, especially on the use of images and pupil names
2. There are no blank or 'under construction' pages
3. There are no dead links or missing graphics
4. The content is not excessively out of date (ie newsletters, calendar/diary events or website 'last updated' statements)
5. There are no other miscellaneous errors

Unfortunately any of the above can prevent us from featuring what could be a really excellent school website.

School Website of the Week is an extremely popular feature on BGfL, and therefore nominations are added to a waiting list. Schools are notified in advance of when they will be featured.

Because of the popularity of this feature and the number of queries generated, the following is a list of schools that have been nominated, along with their intended date to be featured as 'School Website of the Week'. This schedule is compiled on a chronological basis dependant on when nomination was received.

Please note that schools are only featured during full (five day) weeks during school term time.

* dates may change due to circumstances beyond our control. Plus schools that appear in this list may not yet have been checked thoroughly for points 1 to 5 as detailed on this page, and so may be subject to change.
