This activity develops number recognition up to 10.
Resource Support Notes:
The activity can be used for assessment or reinforcement of children's understanding of number sequence, word recognition and counting to 10.
Clicking on the BGfL logo starts the activity. The activity begins with sequencing the numbers and words one to ten (1 to 10). After completing this first part, the number line resets and the sequence becomes randomised.
On starting the activity a number 'word' is revealed which has to be matched with its equivalent numeral on a number line. Clicking on the correct numeral will reveal the next word in the sequence and so on until the activity is completed.
An incorrect choice will prompt the child to try again. If they seem to be experiencing difficulty a message will appear asking them to seek help. On completion of the activity a final score appears.
The activity can be restarted at any time by clicking the 'Refresh' button on the menu bar.

This game will help you learn the words and numbers from 1 to 10. As each word appears you have to match it to the number. The game gets harder as you answer more questions!
