Description:
Once again, St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School has produced a rivettingly eclectic range of insights into school life through their latest issue of their ‘Digging Around’ school newsletter.
Resource Support Notes:

The Local History page alone is a regular feature worth saving, this issue focusing on how Birmingham became known as ‘the Workshop of the World’. WHY did the population of Birmingham almost double in the 23 years between 1838 and 1861?

And why were pupils singing in London? How was Jamelia involved? Did YOU know about the ‘Sing Up’ musical initiative for Birmingham pupils?

What sporting article has the Enterprise Team discovered ‘bounced’ back with an impressive profit margin?

What subversive UFO-related activity has caused havoc in the gardening project?

Which member of staff suggested the teeth-in-acid experiment?

If you would like to know the answers to any of these bemusing questions, then all you have to do is check out  St Patrick’s School newsletter ‘Digging Around’ Issue no. 4!
