| Pupils from Burlington Centre collected images of the City of Birmingham and their own local areas and used these to each create a unique landscape. After studying the work of Austrian artist Hundertwasser they then transformed these pieces into abstract landscapes in the style of the artist.
Domes, pattern and colour were added to signify the richness of life and happiness. By using a variety of materials and processes they created landscape images that are both elaborate and fantastical yet remain personal and relevant. |
