Primarily designed to be used within a CLC as a whole group activity. This
is an exercise in deduction to find the identity of a dead body. It is
specifically aimed at students from Years 7 to 9 to interest them in Science and
thinking.
The site is an interactive on-line learning tool and can be
used in different ways. Firstly it can be used by individual students to work
on-line and improve their logical thinking.
Teachers can also use the
teaching notes and worksheets to plan a whole series of lessons or a whole day.
If they use the opportunity to build in teamwork, a chance to display or
demonstrate their learning they can work on Higher Order Thinking Skills and
lots more.
This is a chance for students to problem solve in a meaningful
context.
Details regarding the 1 day experience, format and curriculum
links can be found in the accompanying worksheet.
