In this blog post, Joe Dale interviews Catherine Elliott from Sheffield City Learning Centre about her work with language learners.
In particular, they talk about a recent French summer school for children aged 9-11 during which pupils used technology to learn and practice language. They used a number of free or inexpensive apps to carry out creative tasks on iPads as well as using animation, digital video and sound recording.
Sounds like an amazing summer school - and all of those ideas!
Imagine how exciting it would be to do just one of those activities to aid language learning! |
