Newsmap is a site that 'visually reflects the constantly changing landscape of the Google News news aggregator' by grouping stories in clusters with the size of each headline being determined by the amount of coverage it has received. The site allows you to choose the country from which you wish to see the headlines from a list including Spain, Mexico, Austria, Germany, Canada, France, India and Italy. Headlines are also colour coded by section, and individual sections can be selected to limit the headlines on the page. By hovering over the headline, you can see the first paragraph or so of the text. A great source of authentic up to date material for language learning.
