MFL Storybirds
Storybirds wiki

Description:
Storybird is a free online tool for writing stories. The site offers marvellous artwork from which to select the illustrations to inspire and accompany your story. Whilst currently you cannot currently publicly publish your MFL Storybirds due to moderation issues (which are being addressed), the wiki referenced gets around this; authors share their stories with themselves, receiving a unique code that allows them to share it for the benefit of others. The site offers Storybirds in French Spanish and German, and Fiona, the wiki mistress, would love to receive more examples. Older pupils (KS3-4) could write their own stories and perhaps share them with younger pupils, whilst teachers could use it to write simple stories matched to relevant vocabulary for their classes.
