Medical Difficulties Support

The DfES site holds the text for Section 11 of the Code of Practice titled 'C: Physical and Medical Difficulties'. This includes a number of case studies which provide practical interpretations relating to levels of difficulty.

The Virtual Teacher Centre (VRC) has a forum for SEN & Inclusion together with specialist mailing lists where teachers can discuss issues relating to all aspects of SEN.

The Government's Inclusion Site provides a comprehensive list of publications for viewing online or downloading. This is supported by the Special Educational Needs area which provides advice and guidance for both parents, teachers and other interested parties.

"Bandaides and Blackboards" is a super site for any pupil with medical needs. It offers activities, support, ideas, shared letters of experience and much more! Well worth a visit.
