Let your pupils'  imagination escape and run wild - check out the latest Key Stage 3 Escapes! website, the online area for the hottest annual literacy event in Birmingham schools!

Key Stage 3 Escapes! is the fifth annual online book award to be presented by Birmingham's Schools Library Service.

Each year the number of participating schools and pupils has risen - along with the emotional temperatures of the fiercely-debated online interactions!

The Online KS3 Book Award annual event is now one of the most popular reading events for Birmingham pupils. Key features include:

  • 14 books shortlisted for their quality, balance and a common theme of escape
  • 2 books voted off each week, Big-Brother-style
  • School ambassadors for each book
  • Comments now publishable at www.bgfl.org/ks3escapes
  • Voting opens 11th January at www.bgfl.org/ks3escapes
