Here is some information from your classmates back at school to
help your teacher set the scene:
send us back some pictures so we can see what the desert house
looks like thankyou-please
make sure that you complete all of the activities including the
description of the desert climate.
MESSAGE 3 - 10:00
You must now collect and record the climatic variables in the desert
house. Make sure that you do it as a group.
MESSAGE 4 - 10:30
You now need to go and collect as much information about the way
in which the desert plants have adapted to their environment.
Complete the tables.
Each group must take a picture of one of the following using the
digital camera. We also want some information from each group about
their chosen plant. Economic and other uses, adaptations and country
of origin

group3: Agave
group4: Opuntia cochenillifera
group5: prickly pear
