1 July, 1906 Rosebery Street Tramcar Depot opened.
1 January, 1907 Steam and horse tramcars finally replaced
by electric tramcars.
Kyott's Lake Road Tramcar Repair Works acquired.
Coventry Road Tramcar Depot opened.
Moseley Road Tramcar Depot opened.
Washwood Heath Tramcar Depot opened.
1 July, 1911 Cable tramcars replaced by electric tramcars.
Birchfield Road Tramcar Depot taken over from Handsworth U.D.C.
1 January, 1912 Cotteridge Tramcar Depot taken over from Kings Norton
and Northfield U.D.C.
Hockley Tramcar Depot taken over from Handsworth UDC
Witton Tramcar Depot acquired.
19 July, 1913 Motor Omnibus operation commenced.
25 November, 1913 Highgate Road Tramcar Depot opened.
3 October, 19114 Interests of Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Co. within the City purchased.
27 November, 1922 Operation of trolley vehicles commenced
24 July, 1924 First top covered motor omnibus operated.
10 June, 1923 Barford Street Garage opened.
28 October, 1925 Birchfield Road Tramcar Depot converted to a motor omnibus garage.
7 April, 1926 Outer Circle motor omnibus route opened.
12 October, 1926 Harborne Garage opened.
8 July, 1927 Selly Oak Tramcar Depot opened.
18 October, 1927 Name of Department changed from Birmingham Corporation Tramways to Birmingham Corporation Tramway and Omnibus Department.
8 February, 1928 Inner Circle motor omnibus route opened.
18 June, 1928 Acocks Green Garage opened.
4 December, 1929 Tyburn Road Motor Omnibus Repair Works opened.
2 March, 1932 City Circle motor omnibus route opened.
16 February, 1932 Wellhead Lane Garage opened.
4 May, 1934 Diesel engined motor omnibuses put into service.
16 September, 1936 Liverpool Street Garage opened.
6 January, 1937 Highgate Road Tramcar Depot converted to a motor omnibus garage.
9 November, 1937 Name of Department changed to Birmingham City Transport.
9 November, 1938 Yardley Wood Garage opened.
2 April, 1939 Hockley Tramcar Depot converted to a motor omnibus garage
15 April, 1946 All-Night Services commenced.
31 August, 1947 Rosebery Street Tramcar Depot - conversion to motor omnibus garage completed
2 October, 1949 Moseley Road Tramcar, Depot converted to a motor omnibus garage.
30 October, 1949 Quinton Garage opened.
1 October, 1950 Washwood Heath Depot completely converted to accommodate motor omnibuses.
30 June, 1951 Operation of trolley vehicles ceased.
1 July, 1951 Coventry Road Depot completely converted to accommodate motor omnibuses.
6 July, 1952 Selly Oak Tramcar Depot converted to a motor omnibus garage.
Cotteridge Tramcar Depot converted to a motor omnibus garage.

4 January, 1954 Lea Hall Garage in the course of construction.

May, 1961 Witton Depot disposed of.
5 November, 1961 Larger capacity experimental 'buses commenced on the Nechells and Lodge Road services.
