Lilies

Most types of water lily have rounded leaves that float on the top of the water.  They have long stalks that grow above the water and they can cover large areas of water.

Lilies can have different coloured flowers and some flowers open only in the morning or in the evening.    The flowers are usually white, red, yellow or pink.  The fruit of a lily usually looks like a fruit or a nut.
