If you have the number 211 and you increase it to 225, what is the percentage increase it has gone up by?

% increase =  actual increase  x  100
                       original amount

Therefore, % increase = 225 - 211 ...

Jessie played 2 games. Her mean score was 3 points and her range was 4 points. What points did Jessie score in her two games?

Firstly, if you know the mean, you can work out the total number of points she scored:
Mean = total number of points / number of games
3 = total / 2
So total number of points = 3 x 2 = 6 points.
