what is the chemical equation for vinegar?
Do you mean the chemical formula?  Vinegar is basically acetic acid, plus tiny amounts of colourings and other impurities.

The chemical formula for acetic acid is CH3COOH where each C stands for a carbon atom, each H stands for a hydrogen atom and each O stands for  oxygen atom.
