This website gives access to the first complete biographical documentary film of Ghandi’s life.
The film is very very long and would need editing to make a useful teaching resource but that is possible to do. The story is narrated and has English, Hindi and German sub titles.
Obviously the footage is old but it should have impact on the pupils with its authenticity – ‘real life footage’.
The footage could be used as part of an assembly or lesson and would fit particularly well in Black History month.
