Study visit course to the Gambia to study global perspectives on sustainable development the course begins November 2010.


This in-depth course runs through the school year and includes a one week study visit to The Gambia at Spring Half Term, 2011. 

It is aimed at teachers and educators with an interest in sustainable development and global learning, who would like to explore ideas with others at a fairly advanced level. Participants will normally be expected to write up work at Masters level units, through the University of Worcester. 

The course begins in November 2010, and will include three full day preparatory sessions, the study visit itself, and three full day follow up sessions.   Part of the visit includes the opportunity for joint work with a group of experienced Gambian teachers linked to the country’s National Environment Agency [NEA].
