The activity can be used for assessment or reinforcement of children's understanding of number sequence and counting to 10. It is a useful introduction to addition by using coins to support the counting activity.
Clicking on the BGfL logo starts the activity. The screen displays a set of 1p coins together with a set of cards of differing values. The child counts the coins and then clicks on the card that shows the matching value. Clicking on the correct card will reveal the next set of coins/cards and so on until the activity is completed.
An incorrect move will prompt the child to try again. If they seem to be experiencing difficulty a message will appear asking them to seek help. On completion of the activity a final score appears.
The activity can be restarted at any time by clicking the 'Refresh' button on the menu bar.

This game uses money to help you learn to count up to 10p. Count up the number of 1p coins and then click on the box that shows that amount.
