Description:
Bingo is a well known game that can be a lot of fun. In the traditional game, the numbers are called out by the Bingo caller. This game is similar but the numbers are 'called out' by answering the division number sentences correctly.
Resource Support Notes:
The relationship between multiplication and division is a very difficult concept for pupils to grasp. This activity encourages pupils to recognise and understand that relationship.

Based on the game of Bingo, pupils have to answer division number sentences correctly. If they do, a counter moves onto the relevant number on the Bingo card. This effectively crosses the number off. The aim of the game is to cross off all the numbers on the card.

If you have a computer room in your school, it is an idea to have all the pupils playing together. Trying to be the first person to get applause is excellent motivation for learning division and multiplication facts!
