Young people form various schools and projects across the city ‘pitched their ideas.

The successful ‘Pitches’ were from:

 Raw Talent Youth Theatre

Who are going to produce a number  webisodes to inform and consult young people on  youth related violent crime .
Each Webisode will be uploaded onto the internet and  will have a different story to tell that relates to anti-social behaviour.

Parkfield Community School

Produced a school comic focusing on anti-social behaviour, gangs, graffiti, safety on public transport, transition to secondary school and internet safety. They  will produce comics and  circulate them  to other schools

St Paul’s Girls School

Designed  a safety charm alarm that can be accessorised. They have had negotitations with a manufacturer to produce the charm. Once made all the girls at the school will be given a charm alarm for their safety.

Nelson Mandela Primary School

Produced  a safety pack for pupils and families containing information about on ‘youth violence’, bullying and  safer travel . The packs have been produced and will be printed and  issused to all pupils and families at the school.

Adderley Primary School
did not receive funding , but were awarded a Innovation Award for presenting their ideas about Goggle Vision Glasses, a CCTV bin and a Multi-functional tool belt.
