Children and young people – participation in the Transport Consultation.

The Rights and Participation Service facilitated and enabled the participation of Disabled young people in the transport consultation regarding the transport services they receive.  Children and young people aged 5 to 19 years old participated in a number of creative consultation workshops in schools and 6th form which included drama and art.  Kylie a member of the Young Disabled Champions, Voice is Power Birmingham Children and Young People's Parliament co facilitated workshops with staff.  We would like to thank children, young people and staff from Selly Oak, Hallmoor and Queensbury School.

Children’s Rights Advocates that visit disabled Children’s Homes also supported the consultation and discussion with children and young people..
