BGfL PLUS has the potential to transform the way your pupils learn and the way your school shares information.

This system allows you to organise users access to information stored on the Internet. Files can easily be uploaded to the Internet without the necessity of learning Web page design. Links can then be made to this information. In addition links can be made to existing Web content.

Members of your school: pupils, teachers and other adults, can be organised into various groups and given access to the information that is relevant to them. This allows you to create learning environments for pupils and to share information electronically with your staff. Every user, including your pupils, can have an individual e-mail address. There is also the option to allow users to have their own Web space for storing files and creating Web pages.

The users can log on to PLUS and MyClasses from any computer that is connected to the Internet providing flexible and versatile access to information and learning activities.

All learning environments and information can also be shared between all of the schools in Birmingham that are using the system; this has the potential for us to create a vast pool of resources.
