Where Did The Name Voice Is Power Come From?

When the youth council in Birmingham was launch in 2008 it was called Birmingham Children and Young People's Parliament (BCYPP). Most of the children and young who were involved did not like the name as it was too formal. After a number of consultations with children and young people we decided to change the name.

Lots of suggestions on a new name were made and Voice Is Power was voted the winner, by the Executive Members.

Voice is Power would like to thank  Samraj, who is an active member of  the Children In Care Council,  for coming up with such a fantastic brand for our Parliament.
