SACRE has recommended the use of the 'Foundations in RE' to support those involved in or considering providing Religious Education to learners in the Foundation Stage. The document covers four of the six learning areas:

• Personal, Social and Emotional Development
• Communication, Language and Literacy
• Knowledge and Understanding of the World
• Creative Development
